Learner target #1: I can identify the ACTFL 21st century skills map and its contents in order to use them to discuss them in relationship to my role as a leader.
Learner target #2: I can use a variety of technology tools to review the ACTFL 21st century skills.
Learner target #3: I can reflect on my leadership role in relationship to these skills and others needed to be an effective leader in the 21st century.

How can a WL leader use the 21st century skills map with what already exists in a district?
How can a WL leader guide teachers to embed these 21st century skills when the WL leader is not there yet?

C. Tasks before you come-become familiar with the 12 ACTFL 21st century skills and some of the strategies and instructional activities. Lots of choices. Not necessary to do everyone, but just different ways to learn. (:

4. A challenge-if you like
If you have a smart phone and/or tablet you can download an app to read qr codes. (like scan code at grocery store). Read about these and download one or use the one some of you may have and scan this code to see where you end up.

5. A challenge-if you like
Wordle is a word cloud generator, Man of you are aware of this web tool and have used it. Anyway for those who are pros and those who are novices build one. Chose 25-30 favorite key words from the document. Chose 5-7 of your favorite and type them more than once so they are bigger. When you have finished save the link so you can use it with your teachers. You can also take a screen shot and then it will be like a picture you can put in other documents.

How is leadership different in the 21st century?
